Barre Yoga Series

This series will teach you basic yoga, breath work and movement.  You will be exploring healthy alignment and more detailed explanation of poses. This class is taught by none other than Shay!  Sign up at the front desk or call 410-243-8348.

Meet the Instructor!

Certifications/Training:  Personal Trainer Cert 1 & 2 through AAAI, Mat Pilates and Yoga 3 through AAAI, Sports Nutrition through AAAI, Holistic Life Coaching through AAAI,  200 level RYT in Hatha Yoga, Accredited through Yoga Alliance; Aerial Yoga Certified with Accreditation through Yoga Alliance; training for meditation through Vipassana Meditation.  BS: In Biology/Psychology from Towson University

Shay's passion for yoga began in 2004, and in 2010 she began teaching to the public. She infuses yoga in all aspects of her life. She loves anatomy and physiology, so alignment and breath are huge part of her focus in class; Shay loves trying different styles of yoga and infuse this love into each of her classes. She has created through the years a unique beautiful blend of flow, strength, and flexibility focus and each class is hand tailored. Shay additionally experiments with different flow, music and asanas.  In 2012 Shay began teaching the aerial style of yoga.  "I am truly in love with the aerial arts and treat each class with a love of creative freedom and safe correct alignment. When I do train people, I train with the whole body concept. Keeping people focused on mind body soul and focused on complete well being."
